Here’s a quick snapshot of my background and how I made my way here.

I’ve been working in the legal field since graduating from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota, where I earned my degree in Criminal Justice with a focus in Paralegal Studies. While I initially intended to pursue a path directly within the criminal justice system, like many, I found myself on a different journey within just a few months. That path led me to litigation—and I was hooked.

I knew early on that arguing motions or standing in front of a judge wasn’t for me (just the thought made me nervous!). Becoming an attorney was off the table, but I quickly discovered that my true passion lies in the behind-the-scenes work of litigation. Supporting the process is where I thrive. The paralegal role wasn’t just a good fit—it was a calling. My approach is rooted in clear communication, strong collaboration, and meticulous attention to detail. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the opportunity to support attorneys working in both state and federal courts, on matters ranging from smaller litigation to complex class actions and multi-district litigation. The experiences I’ve had have given me a deep and practical understanding of the legal field. Today, with over two decades of hands-on experience, I still find real fulfillment in helping attorneys manage the demands of litigation and in seeing each project or case through to the end with confidence and commitment.

On a personal note, I love watching and attending sporting events, traveling to and exploring new places, enjoying live music, and getting lost in a good book. I'm a proud mom, stepmom and dog mom, and what I cherish most is spending meaningful time with my family and friends.

With a strong desire to continue my paralegal career and still be present for the people and moments that matter most to me outside of work, I founded ParaOne Legal Services, LLC.
